A scalable agentic platform and the algorithms driving it, an architecture that had to plug into the systems Health Roads already ran, and all of it built on sensitive health data under strict regulatory constraints. Every member moves through dozens of programs and states, each with its own rules, and the system has to get all of it right without a human in the loop.

The platform runs on autonomous agents that coordinate outreach across every program, channel, and care team, applying the right rules to the right member without manual work. The whole system is event-driven, each member action propagates through the platform in real time, re-evaluating who to reach and when, without a human or a batch job in the loop.

We came into an established engineering effort and took ownership of core parts of the agentic platform - the agent logic, the algorithms, and the architecture tying it into Health Roads' existing systems. We worked inside their team and their domain, made the technical calls on what we owned, and carried it from architecture through to a system running at the scale of millions of members. Scaling that to millions of members meant engineering for concurrency, fault tolerance, and consistency from the ground up - the system has to stay correct when thousands of agents act at once.
